About Us
Our Medical Director, Maged S. Mikhail, MD, has 21 years of experience in both private practice and academic medicine,
where he earned the rank of Professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine at the University
of Southern California.
Dr. Mikhail is graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine and has postgraduate training in internal medicine, anesthesiology, and critical care as well as aesthetic application of lasers and phlebology (treatment of varicose veins). He is a member of the American College of Phlebology and the American Society for Laser in Medicine. Dr. Mikhail is board-certified in pain management, anesthesiology, and critical care medicine.
His training in aesthetic procedures includes numerous courses, workshops, preceptorships, and one-on-one training with some of the most prominent, experienced and highly respected physicians in the field including Drs. John Kingsley (Alabama Vascular & Vein Center), Robert and Margaret Weiss (Maryland Skin, Laser & Vein Institute), Arnold Klein and Michael Kane (pioneers in Botox and fillers), Gregory Chernoff (Chernoff Plastic Surgery & Laser Center) and many others. He is one of the first physicians in California to use of the Cynosure Affirm for nonablative skin rejuvenation and one of just a few physicians in the Los Angeles area who are trained on the Cooltouch endovenous laser for varicose veins.
All our nurses are highly talented and experienced operating room nurses who are also certified in medical lasers and laser safety. In addition they bring a wealth of experience that ranges from inpatient, medical-surgical and intensive care nursing to outpatient cosmetic procedures.
Our estheticians are experienced in anti-aging/rejuvenation facial treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical exfoliation, waxing, aromatherapy and cosmetic applications. They have special expertise in medical grade cosmeceuticals, and have received training in several product lines including the exclusive La Roche-Posay line.
